Our bishop described this prayer as his spiritual coffee and after reading it in its entirety, I get it. This is just an excerpt of St. Patrick’s Breastplate – his call to arms, but recite the whole thing and it’ll take you higher and make you stronger than caffeine could ever dream.
(In case you’re not familiar, a breastplate is the piece of armor that protects the torso and in this case, the heart.)
