Monday Morning with the Saints {no. 14 – St. Faustina}

Happy Feast of St. Faustina (and Happy Birthday to my brand new 4 year old!). The Diary of St. Faustina is a powerful, eye-opening read that just pierces my soul and makes me focus on the next life instead of this one.

[I]f God sends such great suffering to a soul,He upholds it with an even greater grace, although we are not aware of it.-2

    Happy birthday to your little one and this quote is just so so good! We’ve had varying complications this third pregnancy and I feel myself getting weary from it all. There’s been a lot of grace since naptime today 😉 Thank you for being a part of that goodness for me today! 🙂

      Isn’t this quote a gem? So hopeful, so very very hopeful. It’s hard to see the grace in the fog of suffering, but having confidence that our All Loving Father upholds us allows me to lift my head a little.

      I’m so happy you’re expecting! but so sorry it’s been a rough round. God bless you and your sweet Tiny One. Offering prayers for your health and happiness 😉

      IT IS good. I agree. Highlighted in all sorts of ways – stars, underlining, etc. – in my copy of the Diary. St. Faustina wrote such hope. Christ is merciful…
