I didn’t do my Bible Study homework this week. At all. I almost didn’t go since we’ve had a busy weekend and I didn’t even know what we were to have studied this week; but I remembered how much I love going and how I hate to miss a single session because of the flowing wisdom in the room. In {brief} preparation, I cracked open my Study Journal and this week’s topic {drum roll please} was FAITHFULNESS. HA! Oh the coincidence. I wasn’t faithful at all to my Bible Study and there it was staring back at me from page 79.
In short, it was glorious. The thoughts from everyone in the study were wonderfully true and the video featuring Jeff Cavins was compelling. I came home to write the abundance of insight I received from Scripture, fellow students, and Mr. Cavins before it all escaped my mind and soul, when I heard a whimpered cry from my toddler’s room. He has a 102-degree fever and I may be in for a long night.
And so, it’s here I choose to be a faithful mother over a faithful blogger. Please say a quick prayer for my little boy, that he’ll get well soon, and for the rest of us to remain healthy!
I’ll leave you with this wonderful quotation from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and stay tuned for Words of Wisdom Wednesday: The Penny Pinchin’ Edition!
“God doesn’t ask that we succeed in everything, but that we are faithful. However beautiful our work may be, let us not become attached to it. Always remain prepared to give it up, without losing your peace.”

I will pray for your son..
I hope he’s feeling better! Love your post… even when it needed to be short!
